Reply classification for outbound teams
Sort positive, negative, neutral, and unsubscribe intent replies to prioritize pipeline and compliance.
Why classification matters
Not every reply is a meeting request. Teams need to separate interested buyers, polite declines, angry opt-outs, and auto-responders quickly, especially when multiple SDRs share visibility.
Positive and meeting-ready
Route interested replies to owners within SLA. Positive signals should pause sequences automatically so follow-ups do not keep firing after a buyer raises their hand.
Negative and neutral
Document objections for copy iteration. Neutral acknowledgements may warrant one human follow-up, not another automated bump.
Unsubscribe and removal intent
Treat any opt-out wording as authoritative. Suppress at mailbox or org scope depending on your compliance model and stop all pending steps immediately.
Daily reply triage
- Review unclassified replies each business morning.
- Escalate positive replies to account owners.
- Log unsubscribe intent to suppression before end of day.
- Reclassify mis-tagged messages to improve detection over time.
